Garima Agrawal has been teaching dance for 15+ years. The first decade unfolded in India, where she trained students of every age in Bollywood and regional folk traditions. When she moved to Georgia, the classes came with her.
Her training is in Bollywood and folk specifically, not classical forms. The choice is intentional: Bollywood and folk are the dances Indian-American kids encounter at family events, weddings, and festivals. Teaching them well prepares students for the moments that actually matter to their families.
Garima Dance Academy opened its private studio in Cumming in 2022. In the 4 years since, students have moved from their first class to performing on stages across Georgia and the Southeast. Many have brought younger siblings along.
